Here are some common questions from future medical students.
Can UK students study medicine in Poland?
Yes. UK students can apply to study Medicine at the Medical University of Silesia (SUM) in Katowice. SUM offers a six-year Medicine programme taught entirely in English.
What grades do I need?
The Medical University of Silesia requires Biology and one of Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics as part of its academic requirements. As UK qualifications can vary, I can review your individual qualifications & grades during a free consultation and help you understand whether you meet the requirements.
Do I need to sit an entrance exam?
Not necessarily. Whether you need to sit an entrance exam depends on your academic qualifications and the subjects you have completed. During a free consultation, I can review your qualifications and explain which admissions route applies to you.

When should I apply?
SUM offers two Medicine intakes during the academic year. The earlier you apply, the better, as this provides more time to prepare your documents, complete the required steps and get ready for your move to Poland.
